DESCRIPTION:Mon 7th\, Tue 8th\, Wed 9th July 2025 \n\n\n\n8.30am – 3.00pm \n\n\n\nat TVSC container\, near Fingal Boat Harbour and Launching Ramp\, Fingal\, NSW \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nFor All Children 9 -17 years. \n\n\n\nThe three day course will include: \n\n\n\n\nSafety\n\n\n\n\n\nBoat and Sail handling\n\n\n\n\n\nCapsize Drill\n\n\n\n\n\nUpwind and Downwind Sailing\n\n\n\n\n\nTacking and Gybing\n\n\n\n\n\nWind and tide considerations\n\n\n\n\nThe aim of this introductory course is for all participants to be able to steer (and crew) a sailing dinghy on all points of sailing in light to moderate conditions in sheltered waters\, then be eligible for regular sailing at our Club. \n\n\n\nParticipants should be fit and be able to swim 25 metres. \n\n\n\nParticipants should bring a packed lunch each day\, aqua shoes\, water bottle and hat with drawstring. Club boats available: Six 14’ Pacers\, Six X3s\, Two 16’ Corsairs and Safety craft. Life Jackets provided.
