DESCRIPTION:All welcome to join us for lunch at midday and also a short sail up the river to the Pontoon opposite the Chinderah Tavern. Lunch and then sail back. The last one we did was an excellent day out  – visitors  very welcome. \nRSVP by Friday for lunch numbers please (even if you’ve already said you’re coming)\n \nInfo for skippers/crew:\nDepart Fingal about 10.30 – 11 latest\nHigh Tide Chinderah – 2pm so an easy sail up and back with the tide.\nAim to get to Chinderah by just before 12\n\n \nCREW There is already a list of keen sailors wanting a space on a boat so please let us know if you can fit someone on or if you need a boat / can loan a boat.\n \nCorsairs can tie up on pontoon. All help to lift other boats onto the grass – or sail at Fngal and just drive down to chindy for lunch.\n \nDry  clothes/wallets etc can go in Bills car which will be down at Chinderah – all bags need to be in his car by 10am

DESCRIPTION:The Big River Regatta is going ahead\, NOR can be viewed from the link. \nThere will be some minor changes while we don’t have a clubhouse\, but we hope you can overcome any inconveniences and support the event and our club in true sailing spirit. \n Note the arrangements for Saturday night dinner at the Harwood Hilton on the NOR. If you want to dine at the pub\, please book for yourselves asap but no later than the day before\, under the Sailing Club group\, so they have the numbers. \n We are still unsure what facilities we will have available\, the worst case scenario is limited hot showers (in the disabled unit) and porta loos. Best case is we have our usual amenities re opened. \n It is camping\, right! \n On the subject of the camping area we will have a strip of mown paddock to the north of the back access road for trailer and car parking\, this should alleviate pressure on camping and rigging space. \n We have power reconnected however with limited supply\, enough to charge phones etc\, but leave the hair dryer behind. \n Best of all\, the Clarence is still great sailing\, the camp and rigging area perfect\, do come and enjoy the “Demolition Derby Regatta”. \n Any questions please call Hariet 0409 664511 or email bigriversailingclub@gmail.com
