DESCRIPTION:The Richmond River Rowing and Sailing Club runs a She Skippers Regatta in March. \n\n\n\nA female must helm boats.One male sailor (crew only) is permitted on multi-crewed boats.The event will take place all day on Saturday and Sunday morning.Classes consist of: \n\n\n\n\nMono dinghies with an ASY between 102 and 131\n\n\n\nMono skiffs and dinghies with an ASY less than 102\n\n\n\nTrailerable Yachts less than 7.33 meters in length\n\n\n\nOff-the-beach multihulls with an ASY between 67 and 100.\n\n\n\n\nFirst briefing at 9am Saturday. First race not before 10am Saturday.Entry fee: Single handers $35. SUMMARY:School Holiday Sailing Course
DESCRIPTION:This 3 day Sailing Course (8.30am – 3.30pm each day) is open to School Children aged between 7-15yrs. The aim is to give kids an introduction to sailing on our River in a fun and safe environment. \n\n\n\nNumbers will be limited so book in early!  (Registration is below) \n\n\n\nCost: $150 for 3 days. This includes Junior Membership for one year. \n\n\n\nChildren must be able to swim 25 metres\, and have lunch to eat each day during lunch break. \n\n\n\nRescue boats\, sailing boats and lifejackets will be provided. \n\n\n\nChildren should wear swimmers\, shorts\, warm thermal T shirt (or similar woolen jumper)\, shoes to get wet and spray jacket. Wet suit etc optional. Have warm dry clothes to change into. \n\n\n\nInstructors will be qualified Aust.
