SUMMARY:"SheSails" Sailing Saturday 19 June
DESCRIPTION:Our next “SheSails” sailing afternoon is on this Saturday 19 June 2021.  This is open to all club members – bring your dinghies and sail with us! \nIf you don’t have a lot of sailing experience\, spending as much time sailing on the water is the only way to improve your skills and confidence.  \nRigging is commencing at 12 pm\, with High Tide at 4:32 pm (Tweed River\, Cave Point).  At this stage there is plenty of wind forecast\, but it can change as the week progresses.  A safety boat will be on the water to provide assistance.  \nThere will be the choice of sailing a pacer with 2 or 3 pax\, or sailing solo on an X3\, and there is one laser available.  You’ll be rigging your own boat also\, so practice your knots! \nThe cost to hire a boat is $5 per person\, which will cover the petrol expense for the safety boat.  There is no cost for members coming with their own boat. \nPlease click on the link below to attend. \nhttps://www.revolutionise.com.au/tweedvalleysc/events/103048/\n  \nIf you can book your spot as soon as possible\, I would appreciate it\, so I can ask for help from other club members\, if necessary.  At this stage\, there is only myself there driving the safety boat. SUMMARY:Winter 2021 - Handicap Beach Start Day
DESCRIPTION:One Long Race\, handicap starts\, starting from the beach. \n\nBriefing at Midday\nRace Start at 1pm\n\nRegister here. \nOur next race day\, in two weeks time\, will be a single long race\, with handicap start times\, leaving from the beach. Each boat will be given an individual start time for when they can leave the beach with slower boats departing earlier and the faster ones having to play catch up\, during the race. \nBriefing on the day will be midday and start times will be posted on the website from Saturday and shown at the container Sunday morning. Please arrange your registration and crew early\, if you need them. You can register here. \nThe beach might get a bit busy\, so if you have a later start time\, then please hold off on putting your boat on the beach early and also shuffle down to the end.
