DESCRIPTION:Register here \nIntroductory Sailing Course\n \nSunday mornings 8.30-11.30am\nFor 6 weeks 16 Oct- 27 Nov 2022 (Skipping the weekend of the 19/20th of November.)\n \nOpen to all Adults\, and Juniors 9-17yrs.\n \nCourse includes:\nSafety while sailing\,\nSteering and crewing on all points of sailing\,\nTacking and Gybing\,\nBoat handling ashore and afloat\,\nRigging and basic knots\,\nCapsize and Man Overboard Drills.\n \nThe Course will be run by our experienced and qualified Instructors in a friendly and fun environment.\nThose who complete this course should then be confident to cruise or race in sheltered waters with their own or our club boats.\n \nParticipants should have reasonable fitness and be able to swim 25 metres. Also have their own sailing attire of wetsuit or woollen or thermal top with spray jacket\, shorts\, wading shoes\, hat and sunscreen (sunglasses with tie optional). DESCRIPTION:Notice of AGM\n\n\nThe Tweed Valley Sailing Club hereby gives all members notice of our Annual\nGeneral Meeting to be held at Cudgen SLSC at 4.30pm \nSaturday 08 October 2022\, 4:30pm NSW time. \nAGM Purpose\nAnnual reports will be presented by the current club officers\, who will then stand down to enable members to elect a new Committee for 2022/2023. \nNOMINATIONS FOR COMMITTEE\nNominations must be signed by two members of the Club\, with the written consent of the nominated candidate and delivered to the club secretary\, preferably with\, at least seven days before the meeting: (Nominations on the day will be accepted.) Also have their own sailing attire of wetsuit or woollen or thermal top with spray jacket\, shorts\, wading shoes\, hat\, sunscreen (sunglasses with tie optional) and spare clothes/towel.
