DESCRIPTION:  \n\n\nIntroductory Sailing Course – Aug\, Sept\n\nRegister here. \n  \n\nSunday mornings 8.30-11.30 am\nFor 6 weeks\, 14 Aug – 18 Sept 2022 \nOpen to all Adults and Juniors 7-17yrs. \nBased on Aust Sailing Course Sailing 1&2\, the course includes:\nSafety while sailing\,\nSteering and crewing on all points of sailing\,\nTacking and Gybing\,\nBoat handling ashore and afloat\,\nRigging and basic knots\,\nCapsize and Man Overboard Drills. \nThe Course will be run by our experienced and qualified Instructors in a friendly and fun environment.  Those who complete this course should be confident to cruise or race in sheltered waters with their own or our club boats. \n\nParticipants should have reasonable fitness and be able to swim 25 metres. Also\, have their own sailing attire of wetsuit or woollen or thermal top with spray jacket\, shorts\, wading shoes\, hat and sunscreen (sunglasses with tie optional). SUMMARY:SheSails "Let's Keep Sailing" Saturday 23 April 2022 at 11 am
DESCRIPTION:All female members are invited to attend our SheSails “Let’s Keep Sailing” Saturday sailing. \nHigh tide is at 3:01 pm.  Come and join like minded women\, sailing on the Tweed River. \nYou can elect to crew or steer on one of the 4 pacers available\, or sail an X3 sailing dinghy.  There is also a laser available to sail. \nThere will be a safety boat or two on the water\, plus volunteers to help you. \nThe fee is $10 per person which covers fuel for the safety boats and ongoing maintenance on the pacers and X3s.  Payment needs to be made at the time of registration to confirm your spot. \nPlease bring plenty of water and food. \nIf you have any enquiries\, please do not hesitate to contact Monique (e:  swell.lady16@gmail.com) or phone 0409 761 908. \n* Please note that should the weather be bad for sailing\, we will postpone it to the following month.  The fee paid will be credited to a subsequent sailing day.
