SUMMARY:July School Holiday Sailing Course
DESCRIPTION:This 3 day Sailing Course (8.30am – 3.30pm each day) is open to School Children aged between 7-15yrs. The aim is to give kids an introduction to sailing on our River in a fun and safe environment. \n\n\n\nNumbers will be limited so book in early! \n\n\n\nCost: $60 for 3 days. \n\n\n\nChildren must be able to swim 25 metres\, (although we hope not to get too wet) and have lunch to eat each day during lunch break. \n\n\n\nRescue boats\, sailing boats and lifejackets will be provided. \n\n\n\nChildren should wear swimmers\, shorts\, warm thermal T shirt (or similar woolen jumper)\, shoes to get wet and spray jacket. Wet suit etc optional. Have warm dry clothes to change into. \n\n\n\nInstructors will be qualified Aust. Sailing Instructors as well as experienced Club sailors\, who all volunteer their time. \n\n\n\nIt would be appreciated if parents could assist with boat handling at the beginning and end of sailing each day.  \n\n\n\nCheers\, \n\n\n\nJohn Hayward\, Instructor \n\n\n\n0431 025 497

DESCRIPTION:Race day for our Winter 2023 Season. \nBriefing at Midday\, racing from 1pm. \nBoat registration will be here\, a few days from before the event. \nJuniors are encouraged to race\, they’ll have their own shorter course. \nA sausage sizzle and results will be done after we’re all packed away on each day. \nRoster is here.  \nOn Sunday\, if you’d be interested in crewing (no experience necessary) then please fill in this form. A skipper may get in touch with you. Or come along on the day (the earlier the better) to see if you can find a ride. Details on what to bring are here.  Skippers\, your list of the available crew is here. \nFor members\, we have Pacers/Lasers/Corsairs available for hire.  If you hire a boat\, you’ll need to both hire the the boat and register your entry as a skipper.
