School Holiday Juniors Sailing Course

8,9,10th July 2024 – 8.30am to 3.00pm
For Children 7-17yrs
The four day course will include:
- Safety
- Wind and tide considerations
- Boat and Sail handling
- Capsize Drill
- Upwind and Downwind Sailing
- Tacking and Gybing
The aim of this introductory course is for all participants to be able to steer (and crew) a sailing dinghy on all points of sailing in light to moderate conditions in sheltered waters.
Participants should be reasonably fit and be able to swim at least 25 metres.
Club boats available: Six X3s, Six 14’ Pacers, two 16’ Corsairs and two Safety craft. Life Jackets provided. Other Club facilities are limited.
Cost: $155 ( NSW Active Kids voucher may be used) – The cost includes TVSC Junior Package Membership for all Junior Sailing sessions until Sept 2025.
