AGM Purpose

Annual reports will be presented by the current club officers who will then stand down to enable members to elect a new Committee for 2024/2025

NOMINATIONS FOR COMMITTEE

Nominations must be signed by 2 members of the Club, with written consent of the nominated candidate and delivered to the club email address, at least 7 days prior to the meeting:

• There can be a maximum of 7 voting committee members.
• ALL COMMITTEE POSITIONS ARE OPEN for nomination by any club member.
• Current committee members are happy to assist new committee to learn the job.
• There are also many other non-committee positions that need filling.
• All members can attend and participate in committee meetings (voting only by committee members). Please contact any member of the committee for more information.
• Anyone happy to volunteer Additional support where required are encouraged to put their name forward. Please email expression of interest to Secretary: tvscmail@gmail.com prior to the meeting

Memberships are also due for the new season.

With the start of the new season, it’s time to renew our memberships again.

Please note that membership fees have increased slightly. This is the first increase since the club was formed in 2012.

We would appreciate it if you could renew your membership through our members page. Existing members, please check that your contact details are correct.

You can pay either online or by direct deposit into the TVSC account. If you pay by bank deposit, please include a reference with the text Memb and your name. Bank details are on the members page.

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday of first week of NSW School Holiday.

8.30am -3.00 pm each day 

For All Children 9 -17 years.

The three day course will include:

• Safety

• Boat and Sail handling

• Capsize Drill

• Upwind and Downwind Sailing

• Tacking and Gybing

• Wind and tide considerations

The aim of this introductory course is for all participants to be able to steer (and crew) a sailing dinghy on all points of sailing in light to moderate conditions in sheltered waters, then be eligible for regular sailing at our Club.

Participants should be fit and be able to swim 25 metres.

Participants should bring a packed lunch, aqua shoes, hat with drawstring and water bottle each day. Club boats available: Six X3s, Six 14’ Pacers, Two 16’ Corsairs and Safety craft. Life Jackets provided. Other Club facilities are limited.  

Cost: $155
